GeneticDrift
Do you know about schrödinger's cat, the one that's both alive and dead at the same time?
Well, no offense, but compared to my cat, his cat is a pussy.
My cat is much weirder than his.
You see, [genetic drift] is the evolutionary process through which a population's genes change over time.
It's a concept that normally applies to populations, not individuals.
But my cat -his name is George, by the way-, he has been evolving continuously ever since he was born.
Why is George drifting? Who knows? Who cares? No, the question I need you to answer is the HOW.
In theory, genetic drift is a random process, but I have a feeling there is a logic to the way George evolves.
Your job here is to attempt to find out what that logic is.
George's evolutions seem to be connected to what I call the [drift factor], a sequence of 9 letters and a single number.
The process is simple, really: Input something, press enter and observe how he changes.
And who knows, with enough luck and perseverance,
you may be able to put the pieces together and peer beyond the chaos...
